US President Donald Trump has nominated Dr Nicole B Saphier as the next Surgeon General of the United States, calling her a “STAR physician” in a post on Truth Social.
“I am pleased to announce that I am nominating Dr. Nicole B. Saphier to be the next SURGEON GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” Trump wrote, praising her medical background and public communication skills.
In his announcement, Trump repeatedly mentioned Saphier’s credentials in cancer care, describing her as a leading figure in the field.
