US news platform The Hill reported that the United States military has used nearly half of its Patriot missile system interceptors during the war with Iran, citing a new analysis by the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

The report said the scale of the campaign, known as “Operation Epic Fury”, has created significant gaps in US munitions reserves.

According to the analysis, more than half of THAAD interceptors have been expended, while over 45 percent of Precision Strike Missile stocks have been used.
