Following Diane Keaton’s passing on October 11, 2025, at the age of 79, the star’s beloved “house that Pinterest built” and former Beverly Hills mansion (that she bought from Madonna) have both gone on the market. Now, some of the actress’ prized possesions are going up for auction.

“Big news for lovers of Diane Keaton’s distinct style: you could soon own a piece of furniture, art, or clothing straight from the late actor’s personal collection,” according to Architectural Digest (AD). “This June, Bonhams will auction off hundreds of Keaton’s belongings across four sales, in partnership with The Fine Art Group.”

The Auctions Will Feature Everything from Clothes to Memorabilia

If you’re interested in picking up something that was once owned by Keaton — or just want a peek at her personal and professional treasures — then you’ll be keen to know that during Diane Keaton: The Architecture of an Icon, Bonhams will be offering “a thoughtfully curated selection of fine art, interiors, iconic fashion, personal objects, and other creative touchstones from the acclaimed actress, filmmaker, author, and style icon,” according to the auction house’s website.

“Comprised of American modern and contemporary fine art and photography, alongside interiors, notable fashion pieces from her coveted wardrobe, personal ephemera and entertainment memorabilia, the resulting collection illuminates Keaton’s innate instinct for composition, restraint, and meaning,” the website explains.

Bonham’s also notes that “[r]unning concurrently are three online auctions, each dedicated to one of Keaton’s fundamental touchstones: high fashion, interior design & decorative arts, and storied ephemera from both her personal and professional lives.”

Specific Pieces that Will Go Up for Auction

Bonham’s also tells potential buyers that, “[h]eld as a live auction in New York on June 8, The Diane Keaton Collection: Architecture of an Icon presents the full breadth of Keaton’s creative canon. Anchoring the auction are emblematic fashion pieces from Ralph Lauren and Thom Browne, modern and contemporary American fine art, collages by Keaton’s own artistic hand, and the original untitled script for Annie Hall (1977).”

As for the three online auctions, each will focus “on one facet of Keaton’s creative life,” per AD. “The first, The Diane Keaton Collection: Tailored & Timeless, will run from May 31 to June 9, and will offer up over 200 pieces of clothing and accessories, including pieces by Ralph Lauren, Thom Browne, and Comme des Garçons.”

“The second sale, At Home with Diane, will run from June 1 to June 10,” AD notes. “Bidders will vie for furniture and decor from Keaton’s residences, including a metal step ladder that comes pre-curated with one of the actor’s iconic top hats, among other decorations perched atop each rung.”

AD adds that the final online auction, Chapters of an Edited Life, will be “running from June 1 to June 11,” and “will present a collection of the ‘First Wives Club’ star’s personal art, books, and ephemera, including handwritten letters and scripts.”
