Among them is her latest track, Where Do We Go, which she performed during her appearance on the show.

Released in March 2026, the song also deviates from her signature Afrobeats style towards a more dancehall-influenced pop sound, signalling her intent to appeal to a more global audience.

In previous releases, Ayra Starr maintained a strong presence throughout 2025 with tracks such as Hot Body and the Grammy-nominated Gimme Dat, featuring Wizkid.

She also collaborated with Rema on Who’s Dat Girl and released the Afro-R&B single All The Love.

In a separate interview with Angela Yee, the singer revealed that Starr Girl will depart from the naming pattern of her previous albums, instead embracing a wider artistic concept. She noted that the project explores diverse sounds, urging fans to expect variety.

Although the full tracklist and featured artistes have yet to be disclosed, Ayra Starr has teased a collaboration with Afrobeats star Asake, raising expectations of a star-studded lineup similar to her previous album, The Year I Turned 21.

The announcement comes amid a strong start to 2026 for the singer, who recently won the Best International Act at the MOBO Awards.

She recently featured on Colorado by Johnny Drille alongside Young Jonn.
