Bandits kill abducted Kaduna college student after four months in captivity and ransom payment

Bandits have killed an abducted student in Kaduna State after four months in captivity and ransom payment.

The victim identified as Godwin Bitrus, a student of Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, in Jema’a Local Government Area, was abducted alongside other victims on December 31, 2025.

Facebook user,  Dogara Adams Rishiwa confirmed the sad development in a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

“Our land Rishiwa, is soaked in blood and tears again. Murdered in cold blood after 4 months in captivity. RIP Godwin Bitrus RISHIWA. Condolences to the immediately family and entire RISHIWA LAND,” he wrote.

One Comr Haji Barnabas confirmed that ransom payment.
