Why I attended BBN’s Cross’ wedding – Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was among the guests at the white wedding of former BBNaija star Cross and his partner, Chinonso Onyebuchi, in Abuja.

The couple had a beautiful ceremony on Saturday, attended by family, friends, and well-known personalities.

Atiku shared a message on X (formerly Twitter), congratulating the couple. He described Cross as his “godson” and wished them a happy and successful marriage.

He said he went straight to the wedding after returning from Ibadan, where he attended the National Opposition Summit. He also spoke about the strong relationship between their families.

Many former BBNaija housemates were present at the wedding, including Neo Akpofure, Saga, Maria Benjamin, Liquorose, Erica Nlewedim, Sheggz, Mercy Eke, and Ilebaye Odinaya.

Cross, whose real name is Ikechukwu Okonkwo, first appeared on BBNaija in 2021 during the “Shine Ya Eye” season. He later returned for the “All Stars” edition in 2023, where he finished as the fifth runner-up. Since then, he has remained active in the entertainment industry.

The couple began their journey last year with their engagement. They had their traditional wedding in January and a civil wedding in February at the Ikoyi registry before the final white wedding in Abuja.
