Video: Hezbollah official rejects Lebanon-Israel talks as 'submission'

Senior Hezbollah official Mahmud Qamati has dismissed planned direct talks between Lebanon and Israel, saying the group is not bound by or interested in the negotiations and describing them as a “failure” and “submission” to Israeli desires.

Qamati’s comments mark continued divisions within Lebanon over the country’s approach to Israel, with the Lebanese government pursuing negotiations under international pressure, while Hezbollah insists it operates independently of state-level diplomatic initiatives
