US forces have directed 31 vessels to turn around or return to port as part of Washington’s blockade against Iran, Centcom said in a statement.
“The U.S. military has global reach,” Centcom wrote. “No ships allowed in or out of Iranian ports.”
It added that most vessel told to turn around were oil tankers.
