US President Donald Trump was reported “uninjured” after shots were fired during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner at the Washington Hilton, according to Associated Press.
A law enforcement official said a shooter opened fire, prompting an immediate evacuation.
The report said that guests ducked for cover as US Secret Service and security personnel rushed into the hall.
Multiple witnesses reported hearing several shots, while authorities secured the venue and deployed additional forces, including the National Guard.
