Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has spoken to men on the qualities they should look out for when choosing a partner. The actor, while speaking about the importance of respect in relationships, urged men not to compromise on being held in the highest regard by their wives.
Yul explained that respect is a man’s entitlement in marriage, adding that men should not tolerate disrespectful partner but rather end the marriage or relationship.
“Your respect as a man is non negotiable. Men stop tolerating nonsense in the name of marriage or relationship. If your wife or girlfriend doesn’t respect you, dump her immediately and get someone who respects you”, he said.
The actor’s post quickly sparked reactions about his marriage to May Edochie, which became controversial after he married a second wife despite being legally married in 2022.
