Actress and businesswoman Jessica Alba has debuted a new lighter-haired look — and the star looks categorically radiant with it.
Alba, who turns 45 today, has swapped her usual dark espresso brown brown locks for a sun-kissed look just in time for summer.
On Sunday, April 26, she flaunted her new color in photographs posted by her hairstylist Brittney Ryan on Instagram.

Jessica Alba’s hairstylist Brittney Ryan posted two different pictures of Jessica Alba’s new look on her Instagram page to her 18,500 followers.
In the first picture, Alba is alone, staring straight into the camera. In the second picture, Alba is with Ryan, facing slightly to her left, showing her new hair from a slightly different angle.
Per InStyle’s expert description, Alba’s new look “framed her face with chin-length layers and a lighter golden color at the bottom of her chest-length curls. Alba’s strands were parted down the middle, styled in glossy mermaid waves—emphasizing the beachy feel of her new color.”
Ryan captioned her post, “We call this color Cafe con Leche ☕️ Fresh and brighter color for @jessicaalba.”
Alba’s fans and Ryan’s followers flocked to the comments section to have their say on the pictures. Suffice it to say the feedback was universally positive.

Alba Has Had a Quiet Couple of Years Professionally
Jessica Alba has had a quiet couple of years, professionally, by her usual standards.
Per IMDb, while she’s known for her appearances in the likes of sci-fi action series “Dark Angel” and superhero movie “The Fantastic Four,” she hasn’t actually done any acting work so far in 2026.
In 2025, her only acting role came playing herself in a single episode of Netflix’s romantic comedy miniseries “Too Much.” Last year, Alba also spent some time finding a new man and made her relationship with fellow actor Danny Ramirez official.
2024 also saw her gain just a single screen credit. It came in Mouly Surya’s action thriller movie “Trigger Warning.”
Alba does, however, have some upcoming roles confirmed. She will appear in the biographical sports drama movie “Maserati: The Brothers,” the action thriller movie “The Mark,” the drama movie “A Tree Is Blue,” and the mystery thriller television series “Confessions on the 7:45.”
We can’t wait to see Jessica Alba return to our screens — both of the big and small variety. Whether or not she’ll keep her new lighter-colored locks remains to be seen. One thing’s for certain, though: She looks absolutely fantastic.
