Nigerian media personality, Roby Ekpo, has opened up about his 11-year marriage to his ex-wife, Mayowa Lambe Ekpo, which ended without children.
Ekpo spoke during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, where he shared details about the relationship and what led to its collapse.
Ekpo also alleged that he discovered she had been using contraceptives during their marriage.
“I am 48 years old, I don’t have a kid. I started going for sperm test despite being a Calabar man. I now got to find out that she was taking contraceptives,” he said.
According to him, he only recently became aware of a message his wife allegedly sent to someone, where she expressed dissatisfaction in the marriage.
In the message, she reportedly said that love had not benefited her, adding that her husband was not taking care of her as expected, not satisfying her sexually, and not supportive of her spiritual growth or general well-being.
He further spoke about a trip she made to Miami while they were still married.
“She traveled to Miami to do BBL after telling me she was going for surgery for something that would be able to make her conceive.”
