Former “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson debuted a special new face tattoo. The subtle ink appeared after Davidson spent years and an estimated $200,000 to remove hundreds of tattoos from his body.

Fans got a glimpse of Davidson’s latest body modification during a recent appearance in Las Vegas.
The word “Scottie” is inked vertically on the side of his face, nestled perfectly between his left ear and his sideburn.
The tattoo is most definitely a tribute to Davidson’s infant daughter, whom he shares with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt.
The couple announced the birth of their first child with a sweet Instagram post on December 18, 2025.
“Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025,” Hewitt captioned a photo dump of their first days as parents. “scottie rose hewitt davidson ♥️ my best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief. – elsie”
She added a message from Davidson, who does not have a public Instagram account, “wu tang forever. – pete”
The comedian opened up about fatherhood during an interview with People in March.
“Dad life is [expletive] awesome,” he told the outlet. “It is exhausting and rewarding and cute. And I’m very lucky because Elsie is a fantastic mom, and I can’t stress enough how lucky I am.”
He added, “And what’s also cool is you get to watch someone come into this other role, and it’s so nice to see. It’s very rewarding to see the person you chose to have a baby with actually crush it so naturally. And so Scottie’s very lucky in that way. So we’re having a blast. It’s really cute, and it’s fun to dress up a little baby.”
Pete Davidson Removes Tattoos
Davidson has been open about his decision to have his more than 200 tattoos removed from his body, a process that has taken years.
“I got sober and I saw myself in the mirror and I was like, ‘Nah. Who that?’ I was like, ‘I got to change it up a little bit,’” he told Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin during a January 2025 appearance on “Today.” “It’s pretty terrible, so if anybody out there is watching and thinking about getting a tattoo, make sure you really want to get it.”
During the CinemaCon event in Las Vegas last week, Davidson’s arms appeared noticeably vacant of any permanent ink.
“I’ve been burning them off,” he told host Jimmy Fallon during a 2025 appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”
Davidson described the pain as “horrible,” adding, “It’s worse [than getting them].”
“They have to burn off a layer of your skin, and then it has to heal for, like, six to eight weeks, and you can’t get in the sunlight. And then you’ve gotta do it, like, 12 more times,” he explained. “So yeah, really think about that ‘Game of Thrones’ tattoo you’re thinking of getting.”
According to a recent report from People, the “King of Staten Island” star has spent a whopping $200,000 throughout the process.
“I’m trying to clean slate it,” he told Fallon. “Trying to be an adult.”
