Pakistan’s foreign minister Ishaq Dar said restrictions around a high-security zone in Islamabad have been lifted after more than a week.
The area had been under lockdown amid hopes of hosting a second round of US-Iran talks.
Dar’s remarks suggest no immediate plans for further direct negotiations, though Pakistan says it continues to relay messages between the two sides.
He thanked residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi for their patience.
