A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share his experience about how he met his wife and how their relationship eventually led to marriage after she insisted on waiting until marriage before intimacy.
The young man identified as Udeaja Chigozie Kingsley took to Facebook, where he revealed how his girlfriend made it clear early in their relationship that she wanted to remain a virgin until marriage.
He said he respected her decision and never pressured her, which helped build trust between them.
Relationship Built on Respect
He explained that they dated for about two years and five months, during which their relationship remained peaceful and stable.
He added that he treated her well and supported her throughout their time together.
Simple Wedding and Marriage Journey
The man stated he later met her parents, collected the marriage list, and did what he could to fulfill the requirements.
He described their wedding as a small ceremony with fewer than 100 guests, done on a modest budget.
Life After Marriage
Now married for six months, he said life with his wife has been happy and peaceful. He added that their bond has grown stronger, and he enjoys spending time with her daily after work.
Reflection on Their First Night
Reflecting on their first night as a married couple, he wrote: “Lmao, when I met my girlfriend, she said no X before marriage. She was actually a virgin and untouched. I didn’t even argue. It was a beautiful relationship.
We dated for 2yrs and 5 months. I treated her so well. We didn’t have any issues. I didn’t even dispute her choices.
One day I asked her if she will marry despite the fact that I’m not made yet. She said, we can always go up higher.
I needed to secure this amazing woman because I don’t want stories. She agreed.
I met her parents, took the list and did what I could. We did our wedding, lol. Less than 100 guests, strictly by invitation. Everything was less than 1m. We did our traditional wedding too.
Our first night together? Oh my God. It was a banger. It was painful for her at first, but it was a work of 5 hours. We didn’t sleep that night till morning. Unlocking a door locked with an iron key is not easy. It was a night of pain, open doors, and memories.
We’ve been married for 6 months now. And when I see other women, they all look like my fellow men to me because no woman attracts me again except my wife.
Every day by 6pm, I rush home just to see my babe because she is my life, and she is always eager to see me too.
It’s our 6-month marriage anniversary, and I can’t wait to do forever with her. Surprise? Lol. It’s been bliss being married.”
