As of mid-April 2026, petrol prices in Nigeria now range between ₦1,200 and ₦1,332+ per litre, following recent surges driven by global market instability and local supply adjustments.

“Where is Wole Soyinka, Tunde Bakare, and the others who protested against Goodluck Jonathan during fuel hikes? I just bought fuel for ₦1,320 per litre and filled my Benz with ₦137,000. Are they no longer alive? The people who chased Jonathan out are now silent. Those who criticized Sani Abacha seem worse than the government they once condemned.”
