Jennifer Aniston’s Famous Ex Joyfully Welcomes First Baby
Actor Justin Theroux is stepping into a new and meaningful role, one filled with joy and change. He is now a dad. His wife, Nicole Brydon Bloom, revealed on April 18 that the couple has welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
The announcement came with a touching black-and-white photo of Theroux holding his newborn son close as the baby rested peacefully against his chest.
“He’s here 🕊️ we are so in love,” Bloom wrote. The couple has not yet shared their son’s name.
A Quiet Celebration Before Baby’s Arrival
The joyful update comes after a special gathering earlier this year, when the couple celebrated their growing family with those closest to them.
They hosted an intimate baby shower at Jac’s on Bond in New York, with a source describing the evening as relaxed and full of happiness.
“Rather than a traditional baby shower, they gathered for a more intimate celebration. It was perfect,” the insider told People in February 2026.
“Nicole looked stunning. They both seemed very happy. Guests enjoyed cocktails and small bites.”
A Joyful Surprise and Growing Family
The couple first shared their baby news publicly in December, when Bloom appeared at the premiere of “Fallout” season 2, gently debuting her baby bump on the red carpet.
She later recalled the playful way she told Theroux.
“I kind of did the classic thing you see in movies,” she said, as quoted by People. “He was like, ‘How?!’ And I was like, ‘Well, I can walk you through it. It was a team effort.’ ”
Looking back, she added, “We weren’t entirely planning it, but we were excited to start a family.”
People reported that their relationship has unfolded steadily since early 2023, when they were first seen together at a Netflix event.
They later stepped out publicly at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars party, followed by their engagement in August 2024.
Theroux proposed in Italy with a ring featuring a 4-carat emerald-cut diamond, and the couple married in March 2025.
Theroux was previously married to Jennifer Aniston, with the pair parting ways amicably in 2018.
