Iran’s joint military command has accused the United States of violating a ceasefire after firing on an Iranian commercial vessel in the Gulf of Oman.
State media, citing a spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya, said the ship was travelling from China to Iran when it was targeted.
“We warn that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will soon respond and retaliate against this armed piracy by the US military,” the spokesperson said.
