“I Dropped My Own Baby In The River” Shock As Father Confesses After Custody Fight, Family Left In Tears
Fear and anger have gripped residents after a shocking confession by a man.
Accused of throwing his own baby into a river in Vihiga County.
The suspect, Francis Izava, is now in police custody after he allegedly admitted to dumping his two month old child into River Ehedwe following a bitter dispute with the baby’s mother.
The case first raised alarm at Mbale Rural Hospital when a group stormed the facility searching for the missing baby. Hospital officials said no such child was admitted and quickly contacted authorities.
From there, the situation took a dark turn.
After questioning by officers from Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the father reportedly confessed and led them to the river.
But what they found left everyone speechless.
Only the baby’s tiny socks were recovered.
