According to her, the man begged her not to return to Nigeria and asked her to marry him immediately. But Adewunmi stood her ground, insisting he must come to Nigeria to follow proper Yoruba marriage rites before anything could happen.

She said the man agreed, came to Nigeria, and they got married properly. After that, he advised her to wait and process her documents so she could travel freely without stress.

The process took time, keeping her away from acting, but now she says everything is settled and she can move in and out of the country without any problem.
