He also expressed appreciation for the friends who showed up to celebrate him, including Julianna Margulies, his longtime “ER” co-star.
“It’s fun to see them. I love them. I admire them, and the fact that they’re here tonight is really a sweet thing.”
Looking back, Clooney reflected on their shared journey, saying, “We kind of grew up together on the screen, and it’s like over 30 years ago we did ‘ER.’”

“We have a script. We have a director. We got the cast… I think we’re gonna start in about nine months.”
He also reacted to the prequel featuring Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie, expressing enthusiasm for what’s ahead. “I think they’re gonna have fun. I think they’ll enjoy doing it.”
