Aisha Sulaiman Achimugu was born on January 22, 1974, in Kuje, Abuja, Nigeria. She is from Ofu Local Government Area in Kogi State. Her parents, Captain J.E.A. Adole (retired) and Mrs. Adole, instilled strong values in her, including discipline, hard work, and service.
Aisha was ambitious and intelligent from an early age. She graduated from the Federal Government Girls’ Science School in Kuje. Her ambition to achieve drove her to pursue higher education, and she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Jos in 1998.
She didn’t stop there. Aisha went on to get a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Belize, followed by an Honorary Doctorate from Commonwealth University in Belize.

She also serves as head of Bluewave Exploration and Production Limited and manages many other FELAK Group firms, including Altex Engineering Oil and Gas Services Limited, Ay Dol Limited, Oceangate Oil Gas Limited, Wishwhich Koncept Limited, and Felak Concept Limited.

Controversy
In March 2025, Aisha Achimugu made news after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) declared her wanted. The government charged her with criminal conspiracy and money laundering.
According to reports, she left Nigeria after the EFCC declared her wanted, but her aides disputed that she fled to avoid questioning.
Aisha Achimugu, a businesswoman and socialite, has denied that $13 million was recovered from her home, claiming that only $50,000 and N13 million were discovered during a raid.
Achimugu clarified the situation on Monday, April 27, 2026, during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
The EFCC also reportedly conducted a search operation at her home as part of its investigation, with different accounts emerging later about the amount of money discovered.
The entrepreneur also declined to disclose any information on the alleged $13 million, citing the fact that the case is already before the courts.
Achimugu also questioned the $13 million figure, noting that she does not maintain such big sums of money at home.
