Media personality Dele Momodu has criticised the ruling party over recent political developments, suggesting that its actions are inadvertently strengthening the opposition.
Speaking on the situation during an interview on Channels, Momodu alleged that security officials were overly involved during a past political convention, raising concerns about priorities and the management of national security responsibilities.

He further commented on the recent political gathering, describing the conditions as inadequate while noting that the turnout and circumstances may have unintentionally increased attention and support for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Momodu further suggested that current political dynamics are pushing key opposition figures into alignment, naming individuals such as Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Atiku Abubakar, Aminu Tambuwal, and Rotimi Amaechi.
His words in part …
“When APC was having their own convention, all the military high chiefs, Inspector generals of Police, they all abandoned their roles and samb!sa forest, abandoned Jos, Kebbi for all ogas to come to one venue. If I was in President Tinubu’s Shoes I would just calm down and let these people have their own day, it was embarrass!ng that we all had to gather in one small Venue without air conditioning but despite that, They are only making the ADC more popular. They have now forced Peter Obi, Kwankwaso, Atiku, Tambuwal, Amaechi and all other into one party. Let’s start by rescuing our country from a one-man rule”
