Content creator, Untouchable Comedies raises alarm over power bank fire incident at his home
Content creator Untouchable Comedies has issued a warning to the public after a fire incident in his home, which he attributed to a power bank.
He took to his social media page to raise the alarm following the incident.
According to him, the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 5 a.m., and resulted in part of his furniture being damaged.
In the video he shared, he showed the chair which had been badly damaged by the power bank explosion.
He shared his experience to caution others about the potential risks of keeping power banks too close while sleeping.
He urged users to handle such devices carefully, emphasizing the importance of safety when charging or using portable electronics, while also warning people from keeping the items close to them while sleeping.

“Guys I’m creating this awareness because this is what happened in my house. I don’t know who need to hear it and I need to say it out. Make everybody dey careful, na God save me from this one. I want you guys to watch this video so Una go see wetin I dey talk.
Please for those of you using power banks. Be careful, don’t always keep it close to you when you are sleeping. This happened in my house around 5 am. My chair bûrnt down because of power bank. Guys be very careful….”
