2027: Wadada hails Sule for endorsing him as successor

Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has extended his gratitude to God Almighty and Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state for choosing him as his preferred successor come 2027.

The lawmaker gave  the commendation, Sunday at a media parley in Lafia.

Sen. Wadada expressed gratitude to Governor Sule for the endorsement, describing it as a call to greater responsibility and service to humanity.

He said the governor has displayed political wisdom by anointing him as preferred successor and promised to justify the confidence reposed in him.

He said he cannot do the job alone and solicited for the support of other aspirants to rally round him in order to make Nasarawa state greater.

He said almost all aspirants have subscribed to him as governor Sule’s preferred successor and that does not stop him from consulting them one after the other.

He added that he would soon reach out to ex-IGP Mohammed Adamu Abubakar who insisted that he is still in the governorship race.

Wadada cautioned his supporters against engaging in attacks or inflammatory statements.

He also called for unity within the APC, urging party stakeholders to work together ahead of the 2027 elections.

He promised to consolidate on the achievements of Governor Abdullahi Sule towards promoting unity and development in the state.
