
The FCT Police Command have commenced recruitment exercise for police specialists and general duty Constables recruitment.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the command, SP Josephine Adeh, a press statement, in Abuja, said: “The FCT Police Command wishes to inform the general public that the written examination for the ongoing Police Specialist and General Duty Constable Recruitment exercise commenced today, Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at designated centres nationwide, including the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) Secondary School, Abuja.
She noted that the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Ahmed Sanusi, personally visited the examination centre in Abuja to assess the process and ensure compliance with all directives.
“The CP expressed satisfaction with the level of organization, the conduct of candidates, and the professionalism displayed by officers supervising the exercise, noting that adequate security and logistical arrangements were in place to guarantee a hitch-free process.
“Applicants who are yet to sit for the examination are urged to strictly adhere to the date and time indicated on their Examination Invitation Slips and report promptly to their designated centres. Candidates are reminded to appear with all required items, including their printed Examination Invitation slip, National Identification Number (NIN) slip with a clear photograph, and a writing pen, while complying with the approved dress code,” the PPRO stated.
