Chelsea players have taken centre stage in the FA Cup Team of the Round following their semi-final victory over Leeds United on Sunday, underlining the club’s strong zeal ahead of next month’s final.
Six Chelsea players were included in the Best XI released by Whoscored after the semi-final fixtures, the highest representation among all clubs.
The selections follow Chelsea’s narrow 1-0 win over Leeds at Wembley, which secured their place in the final against Manchester City.
Defender Tosin Adarabioyo is among those recognised, alongside goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, full-back Malo Gusto, midfielder Enzo Fernandez, and forwards Alejandro Garnacho and Joao Pedro. Manchester City had three players named, while Leeds United and Southampton contributed one each.

Chelsea core drives semi-final success
Chelsea’s dominance in the selection reflects their overall performance in the competition, particularly in high-pressure moments.
Sanchez played a key role with crucial saves, while Fernandez’s match-winning header proved decisive in the semi-final.
Tosin’s inclusion is notable given his limited involvement in league matches this season. However, the defender has been a consistent figure in Chelsea’s FA Cup run, starting four of their five matches and contributing goals in earlier rounds against Charlton Athletic and Port Vale.
Focus shifts to Wembley final
With the final scheduled for May 16 at Wembley, Chelsea will face Manchester City in a fixture that presents an opportunity to end a run of three consecutive FA Cup final defeats.
