A lady has shared a funny family experience involving her mother and brother after a simple grocery run turned into an unexpected household comedy earlier this week in Lagos.

The incident, which happened after her mother sent her brother to buy groceries, quickly became a talking point in the family due to a mix-up involving sweet corn.
“Sometimes I wonder how people without female children cope. I just called home and my mom was complaining bitterly. She sent my brother to the market to get groceries for her and he almost called her to glory. You know the crazy thing he did? She included sweet corn on the list of items she needed, and he bought roasted corn on his way back home,” she said.
In her account, the lady said the brother defended his decision, claiming the roasted corn looked too good to ignore during his walk back from the market, a moment that quickly turned the household into laughter despite the initial frustration.
“He said the corn was sweet when he tasted it and decided to buy 7. So she should start peeling roasted corn from its cobs to make fried rice?? I laughed until my jaw started paining me,” she added.
