Lebanon’s health ministry says Israeli air strikes have killed six people in the south, confirming earlier Israeli claims of fatalities.
The ministry said the attacks took place on Friday, despite an ongoing ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hezbollah.
“The Israeli enemy’s airstrikes on southern Lebanon today, April 24, resulted in the martyrdom of six citizens and the injury of two others,” it said in a statement.
The latest strikes highlight continued Israeli violations of the truce.
