Chelsea winger Estevao Willian faces a race against time to be fit for the World Cup after suffering a season-ending hamstring injury.

Estevao’s absence is a major setback for Chelsea, who are already dealing with multiple injuries in attack. The teenager has contributed eight goals and four assists in 36 appearances during his debut season since joining from Palmeiras.
Head coach Liam Rosenior revealed the emotional toll the injury took on the player.
“He was devastated,” Rosenior said. “He was crying at half-time. I’m really devastated for him.”
