As the search for Nancy Guthrie continues, Annie Guthrie and her husband, Tomasso Cioni, appear to be tightening their security by putting up a sign on their property.
On Wednesday, April 15, self-proclaimed investigative reporter @JLRINVESTIGATES shared a photo of a “no trespassing” sign reportedly erected on Annie and Tomasso’s front lawn.
The sign warns that “violators will be prosecuted in accordance with A.R.S. 13-1502-A1.”

Forensics conducted, Cellebrite, Honda seized, Luminol done in their garage, photos taken, neighbors questioned about surveillance.”
It’s unclear exactly when the “no trespassing” sign was put up on Annie and Tomasso’s property, but the photo was shared following the reported increased patrols in Nancy Guthrie’s neighborhood.
Nancy Guthrie Update: Increased Police Patrols Reported in Neighborhood
Earlier this week, Nancy Guthrie’s neighborhood reportedly saw an increase in police patrols following harassment complaints from residents.
According to KVOA, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department attended a recent homeowners’ association meeting to address complaints following allegations that a YouTuber had been “harassing” Nancy’s neighbors.
The outlet also reported that the sheriff’s department received similar complaints from Annie Guthrie. In response, PCSD reportedly increased patrols in both areas.
“The sheriff recently told residents in the Guthrie neighborhood during a meeting that there have been increased patrols in the area in response to complaints about streamers and citizen journalists possibly trespassing,” the department told USA Today in a statement Wednesday, April 15.
Pima County Sheriff’s Department Issues Latest Nancy Guthrie Update
Meanwhile, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department issued its first statement in weeks, following reports that DNA evidence had been sent to the FBI for further analysis.
“PCSD has worked with the FBI since the beginning of the Guthrie investigation. This is not new information,” the sheriff’s department shared on X. “The private lab we utilize in Florida continues to share information with the FBI lab & other partner labs across the country. DNA analysis remains ongoing.”
An FBI official reportedly confirmed the bureau was recently sent a hair sample that was collected in February, according to ABC News.
“There is no new DNA evidence in the Nancy Guthrie case. The FBI requested this material over two months ago. The Pima County Sheriff’s Office sent it to a private lab in Florida,” the source told the outlet. “Eleven weeks later, that lab has now transferred an original hair sample to the FBI Laboratory for testing. We remain fully committed to this investigation.”
