Apostle Joshua Selman, founder of Eternity Network International (Koinonia Global), has donated cash and relief materials worth over N200m to victims of recent attacks in Plateau State.
Selman made the donation during a visit to Plateau State Government House, where he met Governor Caleb Mutfwang on Wednesday.
The cleric said the gesture was to support affected communities and encourage hope.
He said: “We came not just as ministers of the gospel, but as sons of the soil, to stand with the people in this difficult time and to encourage hope.”
He added: “Someday, we will look back and appreciate the courage and resilience of the leadership for not giving up.”
Selman announced that the support includes a truckload of about 3,000 bags of rice and other items valued at over N100m, alongside a financial package of about N100m for victims.
He said: “These palliatives may not bring back the dead, but they can bring comfort to grieving families and demonstrate love and responsibility.”
He stressed the need for collective action.
He said: “It would be unfair to do nothing. We must all contribute in our own way to bring relief and restore hope.”
Governor Mutfwang described the visit as timely and appreciated the show of support.
He said: “A strong show of solidarity with the government and people of Plateau in a time of grief.”
The governor called for unity and collective responsibility in addressing insecurity.
He said: “We deliberately reached out to affected Muslim families as a demonstration of our love for humanity. Plateau belongs to all of us.”

He also urged citizens to remain hopeful despite the attacks.
He said: “If it had not been the Lord, what the devil intended would have been worse. While we mourn, we must also be grateful for what God has prevented.”
Mutfwang further called on indigenes to support the state’s development.
He said: “No matter what we become outside, if home is not strong, we remain vulnerable.
“The preservation of Plateau is a collective responsibility.”
The governor added that efforts were ongoing to prevent further attacks as the state seeks lasting peace.
