Iraq’s prime minister has ordered the foreign ministry to summon the United States charge d’affaires in Baghdad after attacks targeted the country’s “military units”, his office said.
Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani issued the directive on Wednesday, as pressure mounts on the Iraqi government to respond.
