The Osun State Authorities has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Igbajo in Boluwaduro Native Authorities Space following a breakdown of legislation and order locally.
In an announcement issued by Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, Commissioner for Info and Public Enlightenment, Governor Ademola Adeleke permitted the curfew after receiving intelligence from the Workplace of the Particular Adviser on Safety, Barr. Samuel Ojo.
Authorities say the unrest, which escalated from Sunday evening into Monday morning, is linked to tensions following the dying of Prince Adegboyega Famodun final week.
