JUST IN: FCT police launch crackdown on criminals, goal hideouts and black spots

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has launched a large-scale operation to clamp down on felony components throughout Abuja.

Miller Dantawaye, commissioner of police within the FCT, has directed all tactical and surveillance models beneath the State Legal Investigation Division (SCID), the Police Cellular Drive (PMF), and the Counter-Terrorism Unit (CTU) to work with the operations division and divisional police formations in a joint cleanup train.

The operation, which is able to run from November 2025 to January 2026, is geared toward raiding felony hideouts, black spots, and susceptible communities throughout the territory.

Dantawaye urged officers to hold out the operation with professionalism and diligence, warning that any type of misconduct or laxity wouldn’t be tolerated.
