Oil prices have jumped sharply after United States President Donald Trump renewed threats to target Iranian infrastructure.
Brent crude, the global benchmark, climbed about 8 percent on Friday, rising above $109 a barrel.
Prices have surged nearly 50 percent since the war began, driving up fuel costs worldwide and pushing governments to introduce energy-saving measures.
