Vice President Kashim Shettima has assured that President Bola Tinubu is working around the clock to end insecurity in Nigeria.
Shettima disclosed this while speaking in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, where he officially received the state governor, Dauda Lawal into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The vice president said Tinubu is focused on ensuring that peace is sustained across all parts of the country.
While praying for more unity, progress and peaceful coexistence under the Tinubu administration, Shettima assured that the President is doing all he can to secure lives and properties across the nation.
“We pray for more unity and progress under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because as our leader is working very hard to ensure the safety of lives and property across Nigeria,” he said.
He also maintained that the security challenges in Zamfara State and other states overrun by terrorists and bandits would soon be addressed by the present administration.
Shettima further stated that the coming of Governor Lawal into the APC will help achieve optimal security in the state.
He also said that opposition parties like the ADC, PDP and other parties will not thrive in Zamfara State because all major politicians in the state are knitted together.
