Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, has applauded Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo’s contributions to nation-building, saying he has helped in fostering unity and strengthening Nigeria’s political, {economic}, and social establishments together with his sensible commentaries on the state of the nation.
He described Prof. Soludo as a person of concepts and honour who, regardless of coming into workplace at a time when many politicians had began mortgaging integrity for relevance and sowing seeds of discord, has remained dedicated to nationwide development and growth.
Shettima said this on Tuesday when he represented President Bola Tinubu on the inauguration and swearing-in of Governor and his deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, for a second time period in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
He famous that the President’s insurance policies have benefited immensely from Soludo’s constructive recommendation.
“The insurance policies of His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu have benefited from the candour, specialist perception, and patriotic counsel of this distinguished economist, this stressed thinker, this public mental of unusual vary, each in open fora and in non-public conversations. And that’s the way it needs to be.
“That’s what it means to be within the enterprise of nation-building. It means inserting the welfare of the federation above the self-importance of partisan fences.
