Multiple casualties are feared after a truck lost control and rammed into several vehicles, motorcycles, and pedestrians along the Beere–Oja Oba axis in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Tuesday.
The truck reportedly lost control after navigating through Oja’Oba and spiraled at Beere Junction.
The vehicle ploughed into bystanders and commuters, with the most severe damage reported at Iso-Osan (Orange Market).
Eyewitness accounts suggest that the trailer suffered a brake failure.

Security agencies were said to have responded swiftly to the scene and are currently maintaining law and order in the area.
