BREAKING: The Vibrant Soldiers Engaged Them With Superior Firepower’ – Military Reacts To Death Of Six Bandits

The Nigerian Military recently reacted to the death of six bandits who had orchestrated several deadly attacks around the Lake Chad waterways. According to their statements which were shared by VANGUARD, they pointed out that the vigilant and vibrant soldiers engaged and annihilated them through their superior firepower.

The news regarding the death of six bandits believed to be members of the deadly Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters around the Lake Chad waterways generated mixed reactions after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.

In a twist of events, the bandits, who had orchestrated several deadly attacks around the area, came under an offensive attack, as a joint operation caught them unawares, leaving their camps decimated while several others escaped injured.

Lieutenant Colonel Iweha Ikedichi, the spokesman of the task force which carried out the operation in a recent statement, disclosed how the bandits were overpowered and annihilated.

According to his statements which were made available to the general public by VANGUARD, he pointed out that the soldiers after engaging the bandits, overwhelmed them as a result of their superior firepower.

The terrorists, according to Lieutenant Colonel Ikedichi, abandoned their mission, dragging along several of their injured members along with them.

‘In his words’

“However, the vigilant and vibrant MNJTF troops engaged the terrorists with superior firepower, forcing the terrorists to abandon their mission and withdraw with multiple casualties into the Lake Chad waterways.” He said.

The statements from the Military however, drew massive commendations as many believed their efforts were deserving of special praise.
