‘Brady Bunch’ Star Finally Meets His Famous Lookalike

For years, fans have joked that Seth MacFarlane and Christopher Knight could pass as the same person.

Now, the two stars have finally met face-to-face — and they’re putting the long-running internet theory to rest.

The unexpected crossover happened on Monday, March 23, when the “Family Guy” creator and “The Brady Bunch” alum posed together for photos inside the iconic Brady home.

The Fun Crossover

The images, shared on Instagram, show the pair smiling side by side on the famous staircase and inside the recognizable orange kitchen — a setting that made the moment even more surreal for longtime fans.

The caption made their intentions clear: after years of comparisons, the meeting was meant to settle things once and for all.

“It finally happened,” the post read, joking that the resemblance debate could officially be put to rest.

The post continued, “Christopher Knight and Seth MacFarlane were in the same place at the same time…Guess that officially settles it – they are NOT the same person.”

It humorously added how the conspiracy theory is no more and they were “Separated at birth 16 years apart!”

Despite the humor, the visual proof only fueled more fascination with how similar the two look.

MacFarlane has previously acknowledged that people often mistake him for Knight’s most famous role — Peter Brady.

Back in 2013, he shared with Parade and that he regularly gets stopped by fans asking if he’s the beloved sitcom character.

Knight, for his part, has embraced the ongoing joke.

Reflecting on the comparisons, he admitted while appearing on his podcast with Barry Williams in October 2022, he sees the resemblance too — but with a twist.

He playfully pointed out that he came first, suggesting that if anything, MacFarlane is the one who resembles him.

“I’m a great Seth MacFarlane fan,” Knight said. “I bow to him. I’m not worthy, because he’s so talented.”

He went on to recall how the comparisons ramped up when MacFarlane hosted the Oscars in 2013, joking that even his own friends couldn’t stop pointing it out.

Fan Reactions

Fans quickly flooded the comments with reactions, many saying the meetup only made the resemblance more uncanny.

“We demand a ‘23 and me’ ancestry test. These two are at least distant relatives!” one fan wrote.

A few said they never realized the resemblance until now.

Some joked that the “same person” conspiracy wasn’t fully debunked, despite the photographic evidence.

Some even called for the two to collaborate on a project, leaning into the lookalike buzz.
