Atiku Abubakar Fuelled Insecurity; Allegedly Spent $15bn Funding Boko Haram Militia Group -Ibrahim Osinowo
In a latest interview with Information Central TV, All Progressives Congress (APC) member Ibrahim Osinowo accused former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of contributing to Nigeria’s ongoing insecurity. Watch The Video.
Osinowo made the remarks whereas responding to criticism of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration by Paul Ibe, who had attributed the nation’s worsening safety scenario to the federal authorities.
Countering this view, Osinowo argued that insecurity in Nigeria didn’t start beneath the present administration. He claimed that the roots of terrorism may very well be traced to earlier governments throughout Atiku Abubakar’s tenure as Vice President.
He acknowledged, “Atiku Abubakar contributed to the insecurity we’re witnessing; he allegedly spent $15 billion fraudulently funding the Boko Haram militia group.”
Osinowo additional steered that the rise of terrorism in Nigeria occurred whereas Atiku held federal workplace, emphasizing that previous leaders must also be held accountable for the nation’s longstanding safety challenges.
