
Prof. Tukur Adamu has taken over the management of Federal College, Gusau, as its fourth substantive Vice-Chancellor, following the expiration of Prof. Mu’azu Abubakar’s tenure.
On the handing-over ceremony in Gusau on Tuesday, the incoming VC, Adamu, pledged to construct upon the legacy of his predecessor, Abubakar.
“I’ll give precedence to infrastructure, human capital, tutorial improvement, workers and college students’ welfare, in addition to guarantee an appropriate surroundings for educating and studying.
“I stay up for working with all segments of the college.
“We are going to proceed partnering with all stakeholders, particularly the Zamfara Authorities, conventional establishments, and our host group,” he defined.
Adamu thanked President Bola Tinubu, the Federal Ministry of Schooling, and the college’s Governing Council for his appointment.
Additionally talking, the outgoing VC, Abubakar, thanked the college group, Sabongida city, its quick group, and all stakeholders for contributing to the assorted successes recorded throughout his tenure.
