Nigerian actress Angela Okorie has reportedly been re-arrested over her alleged refusal to pay authorized charges owed to the lawyer who helped safe her bail from Suleja jail.
Based on studies, the actress was re-arrested on Tuesday on the Suleja jail shortly after she was launched on bail.
The event reportedly occurred lower than an hour after actor Stanley Ontop raised an alarm on social media about an alleged plan to re-arrest her following her launch.
Doris Ogala reveals alleged purpose for her rearrest
In a video shared on Instagram, actress Doris Ogala claimed that she was on her approach to the police station after studying of the incident.
She alleged that Angela Okorie was re-arrested on the occasion of an unnamed Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) over her refusal to pay an agreed N5 million authorized payment for securing her bail.

“You see, one factor is for somebody to chop their garments in response to their measurement. Angela has been arrested once more. As a matter of reality, I’m going to the police station now. You see, when Angela was arrested by Mercy, she known as a good friend of her or village particular person. I don’t know the way they relate. To assist her get a SAN.
“And the SAN charged them N5 million. I believe the SAN was the one who even facilitated the bail and all that. Now when Angela knew that they’ve granted her bail in response to the woman, Angela began saying that she didn’t ask her to get a SAN and she or he wasn’t going to pay the cash, and in the meantime this girl has deposited.”
Angela Okorie had earlier been granted bail on Friday following her arrest, which was linked to a petition by fellow actress Mercy Johnson over alleged defamation. Experiences state that she had solely regained her freedom moments earlier after assembly and perfecting her bail situations earlier than the contemporary arrest.
As of the time of this report, neither Angela Okorie nor her authorized representatives have formally responded to the allegations surrounding the re-arrest.
