An explosive hit Mubang village in Hong Native Authorities Space of Adamawa State on Wednesday afternoon, triggering renewed concern in a group nonetheless reeling from latest Boko Haram assaults.
Residents mentioned the blast occurred at about 2:00 p.m., sending folks fleeing in panic. No casualties had been reported.

Based on residents, the attackers invaded the communities at about 6:16 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025, killing each elders and youths through the assault.
Confirming the newest explosion, the Chairman of Hong Native Authorities Council, Usman Inuwa, mentioned he was knowledgeable of the incident shortly after it occurred.
