Six farmers have been reportedly killed on Friday night time in a contemporary assault by suspected armed bandits in Unguwar Wawa group, Borgu Native Authorities Space of Niger State.
The incident was disclosed on Saturday in a publish on X by Bakatsine, a battle and disaster journalist who studies on insecurity in Nigeria’s northwest.
In line with the report, the attackers invaded the group at about 10:00 p.m. and opened hearth on farmers engaged on their farmlands.
The assailants reportedly fled the world after the assault, leaving residents in shock, worry, and mourning.
The incident has additional heightened issues over the worsening safety scenario within the space, particularly for rural farming communities which have more and more develop into targets of violent assaults.
