JUST IN: Tinubu in Closed-Door Assembly with Safety Chiefs

President Bola Tinubu is presently assembly with heads of Nigeria’s safety businesses on the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The assembly comes barely 24 hours after the resignation of Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru.

The safety gathering is being led by the Chief of Defence Workers (CDS), Normal Olufemi Oluyede. Additionally in attendance are Chief of Military Workers (COAS), Lt. Normal W. Shaibu; Chief of Air Workers (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Aneke; and Chief of Naval Workers (CNS), Vice Admiral I. Abbas.

Different high officers current embrace the Chief of Defence Intelligence (CDI), Lt. Normal Emmanuel Undiandeye; Director-Normal of the Division of State Providers (DSS), Adeola Ajayi; and Inspector-Normal of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun.

The assembly comes amid escalating safety challenges throughout the nation. As of the time of submitting this report, no particulars of the discussions had been launched to the press.

Earlier reported by Politics Nigeria, President Tinubu had introduced the nomination of former Chief of Defence Workers, Normal Christopher Musa, to exchange Badaru as Minister of Defence.
