Terrorists on Friday night invaded Adanla group in Igbaja Ward 2, Ifelodun Native Authorities Space of Kwara State, abducting seven residents and injuring a number of others, only a day after Christmas.
A supply said that the assault occurred at about 7:30 pm, plunging the normally peaceable group into panic, grief and mourning.
In accordance with the supply, the armed assailants stormed the group in giant numbers, firing sporadically as they forcibly entered properties and kidnapped residents.
“Immediately, 26 December 2025, at about 7:30 pm, Adanla, Igbaja Ward 2, Ifelodun Native Authorities Space was invaded by bandits. Our peaceable group is in deep sorrow, grief and agony,” the supply mentioned.
The attackers reportedly kidnapped seven folks throughout the raid, whereas a number of others sustained gunshot accidents. A younger lady is claimed to have been severely wounded and is presently combating for her life.
“They invaded our properties throughout this festive season, forcibly kidnapped seven folks, and injured a number of others. They fired a number of gunshots, and 7 of our members of the family at the moment are within the den of those heartless criminals,” the supply added.
Residents described the incident as devastating, noting that households have been left shattered, with worry and uncertainty gripping the group.
