Controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has mentioned that Nigerians should study to stay with Fulani herdsmen, insisting that they’re an integral a part of the nation.
Gumi made the remarks in a video shared on X, the place he acknowledged that the herdsmen belong to Nigeria and wouldn’t be pushed away.
He confused that no group may drive them out, simply as they may not drive others away, noting that they’re neighbours who shouldn’t be thought to be enemies.
In response to the cleric, turning Fulani herdsmen into enemies would have grave penalties for the nation, warning that such a transfer may spell doom for Nigeria.
