Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has acknowledged that the present surge in abductions throughout Nigeria is a deliberate try to discourage President Bola Tinubu.
Okpebholo argued {that a} related technique was reportedly used towards former President Goodluck Jonathan and succeeded, however insisted that it will not work towards the present administration.
The governor’s feedback come because the nation experiences a recent wave of abductions by bandits.
In November, bandits attacked the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Oke Isegun, Eruku space of Kwara State, abducting a number of worshippers throughout a church service.
